Bio
Vedant Mohan is a rising tennis talent from India. At just 13 years old, Vedant stands 1.65 meters tall and has been playing tennis since he was 4. Ambidextrous, he plays primarily left-handed, with an all-court play style, aspiring to become a smart and aggressive player.
Vedant moved to Spain at age 9 with his family to further his tennis career. Since then, he has claimed numerous titles, including the Spanish National Champions Bowl and the World Finals event in Croatia, where he won in doubles and was a singles finalist. Vedant was one of the youngest players invited to the prestigious IMG Future Stars event for two consecutive years, featuring the world's top 24 players.
Last year, an unfortunate visa issue kept Vedant away from his coach and training in Spain, but he has returned stronger and more determined than ever. His ultimate goal is to become the best tennis player in the world and make history for Indian tennis. Currently, Vedant lives with his mother and younger brother in Spain, while his father works away from home to support them.
Vedant's next goal is to break into the World Junior ITF circuit and start competing on the junior tour from an early age. He is committed to maximizing his development with a future professional career in mind.
Vedant has won over 16 Spanish tournaments in the U12 and U14 categories, totaling over 25 tournament victories since moving to Spain. His notable wins include the U12 Singles Tennis Europe in Slovenia, the U12 Doubles Tennis Europe in Croatia, and the U16 Singles Thailand Federation LTAT Cup at just 12 years old.
